The LaCroix Facility
• 65 stalls
• Heated main barn
• Five extra large (12 by 14), quiet, matted seclusion stalls for post-surgery recovery
• Two 60 foot by 60 foot covered square pens
• Covered 40-foot diameter round pen
• Safe, spacious paddocks with good grass
The farm is centrally located and easily accessible to area tracks, less than five miles from Interstate 71.

Underwater Treadmill System
High tech engineering combines a treadmill with water to aid in healing, strengthening and conditioning. Using the latest technology, large sand filters issue 140 gallons of clean, heated water per minute into a specially designed tank where the horse is partially buoyant, and yet maintains contact with a treadmill. Unlike traditional swimming pool therapy, this allows the horse to exercise at its normal gaits, using the same muscles it would on the track, without undue concussion, stress or trauma. Powerful Jacuzzi jets can be used alone or with the treadmill to provide therapeutic effects for nearly every facet of the horse’s body.
The Underwater Treadmill System is a proven treatment for the healing of such injuries as bowed tendons, pulled suspensory ligaments, bucked shins, fractures and sore feet, in addition to the rehabilitation of horses after surgery. |

Equi-Ciser™
Rated as the top equine exercise equipment by performance horse professionals, the Equi-Ciser™ is a free run exerciser engineered and built with the highest safety standards in the industry.
It features an auto reverse set for every ten minutes, and a wide range of speeds to increase or decrease training capabilities. At 72 feet in diameter, the Equi-Ciser™ includes six individual mobile stalls. All under cover, this is a particularly effective way to keep racehorses fresh and fit between races. |

Program Manager: Del Lowell
A graduate of the University of Findlay with an AA in Equestrian Studies, Del Lowell has been a professional in the care of top race and show horses for more than two decades. Her 15+ years’ of aqua-treading horses makes her one of the most experienced handlers in the Country relative to this proven system of equine rehabilitation.
Over the years, Del’s instincts and attention to detail have built her an impressive reputation in the racing world. She has enjoyed caring for some of the equine industry’s finest athletes. |
